Where can I buy a Bullseye 1911?

I would like to order/purchase/initiate a bullseye-oriented 1911 for roughly $4,000.00.  I am not in a hurry, but everyone I contact indicates they are unavailable--and I do mean, everyone.  I feel I must be missing something.  Are there any suggestions?

I love my RRA NM Hardball gun in 45. Having gotten to dry fire other match grade 1911s I believe it has an unforgiving trigger - zero roll or staging. It's the definition of crisp. But when I'm in the zone it shoots on call at 50 yards with the marine load, and cycles SWCs like a champ too. It's a wonderful thing having such an accurate gun and load that when it's an X you know it was all you, and when you have a 7 that was all you too.  Also the finish is flawless. Mine does eject all over the place (2-3 out of 10 make it in the net, most fly back at 5 o clock) but I haven't tried to send it in for warranty work yet since Atterbury is coming up. Never had a jam or a stovepipe, took no breaking in from new.

I would suggest you talk to someone like Jon Eulette. The best BE gunsmiths were top shooters. Jimmy Clark, Floyd Aikman and George Madore were a few that have past. Someone that has reached the top of the BE shooting field knows what is needed and will understand what is best for your needs. Combining shooting skill and gunsmithing will yield an excellent BE gun! Jon will do what is needed to build a gun that is best for you and offer his experience as a shooter to help you decide what to get, others simply want to sell you a gun at the highest price they can convince you to spend! Message him before doing anything else!
