Outstanding tutorial, Scott! It’s always difficult to get from the “Wouldn’t it be nice if……” to the actual “Here is how it can be accomplished” Congratulations to you and your group for making it happen.
On a side note, I have personally built two systems around this controller, one to update an older system at our 12 lane indoor range and one single target setup for my personal use at a friend’s outdoor range. I highly recommend it for your target turning needs.

Wow just wow. Calling it a “Shooter’s Shoot” is a brilliant psychological change. It creates a new perspective that isn’t intimidating. Hat is off to you!

Awesome! I appreciate what you’re doing for Bullseye. Running a league is definitely a challenge. I had forgotten about the “infiltration” approach, which I’ve experienced in other leagues.
I’m going to give some thought to our Sunnyvale league this winter. This gives me food for thought.
You’re definitely at least 300-level right now; introducing handicaps to your league will give you a Ph.D. in Bullseye league administration!

Scott, did RangeUSA need to get approval from corporate? I’m very friendly with the staff at our local RUSA. They have a women’s shooting night and thinking about goading them into having a “Texas team”. Maybe a virtual championship against Team Indy 1800?

I don’t know that they asked.
Our store manager is willing to speak with others though. PM me if you want to get them connected.

Thanks. I’ll start by asking how the other calendar events are decided and whether they’ve considered hosting competitions. Will circle back with you later.
Thanks for sharing your info and what you’ve done developing the TTS.

No problem. I’m considering making a 3d printed box that goes around my circuit board for easy mounting and less hassle.

Well sh*t, in for a penny, in for a pound, I guess.
By virtue of having a (checks to confirm that this is a public forum) child of undetermined gender who would have interest in a 3D printer, I now find myself in possession of 3D printer. Are you willing to share? I'm a Tyro in the 3D printing world.

Excellent!
The PcB design is here, all free and open source

If you can create a box with tabs, I will post to the same directory and people can use it at will! Thanks!!

quick update: we've grown from 3-4 members last fall to 18 members, with around 12 showing up each Monday. We've started running two heats to get everyone time to shoot. The best news, we're still growing!!
