ENTRY LIMIT:     Entries are limited to 136 competitors.
 

FEES:
CMP Registration & Match Fees             $20.00 (Includes special “Competitor Membership” in CMRPC).
            Individual Matches                                $50.00 per gun plus registration & match fee.
            Special three gun package Fee              $140.00 (Includes special “Competitor Membership” in CMRPC).

Note: Juniors pay 50% of regular individual fees for CMP Matches.  EIC match fees ae not discounted.
 
Entry fees will not be refunded unless cancellation is received by 6:00 pm July 10, 2024.
 
RULES:  27th Edition CMP Pistol Competition Rules will govern.  Eye and Hearing Protection as well as Safety Flags
    [formerly called Empty Chamber Indicators (ECI)] are required.
 
SOUVENIR AWARD:  Each competitor will be issued a new regional souvenir or their choice from existing inventory.
 
CLASSIFICATION:  CMP classification system will be used in all matches.  Competitors who do not have a CMP
classification may compete with their current NRA classification (Rule3.11.6).
Individuals who have not been classified will fire in the Master class (Rule 3.11.7).
 
CHALLENGES:  A challenge fee of $2.00 will be charged for each challenge made.
 
 
SQUADDING:  All matches will be squadded.  Squadding information will be issued from the Statistical Office.

           .22 EIC Match: Match #17 (Furnished by Civilian Marksmanship Program)
 
EIC Revolver Match: Match #18 (Furnished by Civilian Marksmanship Program)
 
EIC Service Pistol Match: Match #19 (Furnished by Civilian Marksmanship Program)
 
           Canton McKinley R&P Club will furnish all other awards - Awards will consist of cash awards.
 
 

 
Clean Target Raffle:
 
Back by popular demand, we will be having a clean target raffle for the 2700 match. Competitors who shoot a clean target will get a ticket for each clean target shot. After a complete 2700 is shot and all tickets collected there will be a drawing following the 2700 match on Sunday. Cash prizes will be awarded to four lucky winners. The prize amounts are listed below. Good luck!

The schedule is based on having two relays of individual match competition, followed by a two hour lunch break before EIC matches are held.

Match  #19       CMP EIC Service Pistol Match - National Match Course Begins after the lunch break. Ammunition must be furnished by the competitor.  All regulations as set down by the CMP will govern this match.
 
MATCH CONDITIONS:  Each match must be fired during the time period designated for that match.  Scoring will be done down range.  Competitors will score the target on their left.  Competitors are responsible for repairing their own targets.  Scorers and competitors shall sign and turn in their score cards at the end of each caliber fired within fifteen minutes of completion of the match or the competitor will get a DNF (this will be strictly enforced).  Range personnel will assist in all ways possible to avoid unnecessary delays.  Slow fire re-fires may be fired on the subsequent relay (if space is available) or after the second relay.  A challenge period shall apply after posting of preliminary results for each relay.  Time for the end of the challenge period will be listed at the time of posting.
No pistols are to be pointed above the backstop.

RANGE FACILITIES:
 
During the tournament the Canton McKinley R&P clubhouse provides sanitary facilities and showers.  Hot meals are available for purchase.  Camping is permitted on the club grounds with ample space for tents and trailers.  A limited number of spaces have electrical hook-ups, but no water or sanitary hook-ups are available.  Competitors can arrange camping with the Match Director.  A donation of at least $5.00/day for tents and $15/day for RVs is requested from those camping at the range.  The picnic shelter and outdoor grills are available for use.
 
ENTERTAINMENT:  The traditional kielbasa cookout with door prizes will be held Friday evening after firing is
finished.  All competitors and workers are invited for this social event.
 
STEAK “FRY”: On Thursday, July 11, 2024 a Steak “Fry” with salad, potatoes, baked beans, and Italian bread. be held.
               You may purchase a dinner ticket ($25) with your entry or that afternoon.
    NOTE:  Last year’s problems will not be repeated.
 
BBQ:   On Friday July 11, 2024 a BBQ with coleslaw, baked beans, roll and desert will be held.
You may purchase a dinner ticket ($25) with your entry or that afternoon.
Proceeds benefit the ORPA Junior Pistol Team.
 
MEALS:
Breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, juice and coffee) will be served from 6:30 am until 11:00 am.
 
Lunch will be ala carte with items listed along with suggested minimum donations. With coffee iced        tea or lemonade provided at no charge.  Lunch will be served from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm.
 
 Bags of ice, Klondikes, and drumsticks will be sold ala carte.
 
 
SPECIAL NOTICE:  The speed limit on our lane is 10 mph.  We would appreciate it if you would comply.  This will help us – “keep the peace” with our neighbors.  Please also maintain a speed of no more than 35 MPH on TYRO STREET NE.  The neighbors specifically cited the competitors at our Regional as being some of the culprits, speeding on TYRO.

I emailed Ernie expressing my appreciation that "TICKET!!!!" has returned. Good move on the part of the planning team. I staged a firing line revolt last year to reinstate it.

Yeah, I've been on both ends of gun club website updates. Currently on the wrong end (different club; not Canton-McKinley). Please be patient, folks. I do appreciate your enthusiasm for our Club's match, and I am looking forward to being there again this summer.

I am not an officer of the Canton McKinley Rifle and Pistol Club, thus I cannot speak on behalf of the Club.
