White Oak Shooting Club May & June

Anyone planning on shooting the White Oak Shooting Club (Greenville, PA) May and/or June matches?

I have heard good things about the matches there. I have not been able to make it there yet though.

Program / dates?

According to NRA, I still have a standing National Record for Junior Men's Sport Pistol, fired at Greenville, PA, if my memory serves me correctly. It was 30+ years ago (12/19/1993).

I think that was at Greenville. It might have been New Castle.

That's pretty cool. Thanks John. I've left thumbprints on a trophy or two from my youth. It's always nice to see any organization respect competitors enough to keep track of things like that.

Sadly, it appears that Western Pennsylvania has lost touch with BE pistol. The White Oak matches are the closest to me, but still nearly a two hour drive (I live just east of Pittsburgh). Unless I haven't figured out where to look, all the other closeish(?) sanctioned matches are in Ohio or in central/eastern PA.

I've been living here for 12yrs or so, and I'm surprised by the lack of BE competitions in this region. There must be 300 "sportsmans club/assn" around here... The usual sources show a handful of IDPA/USPSA matches (which I have tried, and faired well), but that type of shooting is not my style anymore. With dodgy leg joints, a touch of Arthur H. Itis in the hands, and Old Guy physique, I look silly bobbing and weaving around obstacles trying to shoot like John Wick. That and nearly all of my firearms are geared toward accuracy, rather than rapid fire (it is a lot cheaper to shoot a few well placed rounds, than spray and pray many hundreds of rounds in the general direction of pizza box silhouettes).

Do you know of any other long standing BE/Precision Pistol matches in this area?
