Where could I find a trigger shoe that will fit a Springfield Armory's Range Officer?

++ on the Froneck shoe. Lots of sizes and offsets. They are almost too nice to put on a gun.

Would like something with serrations or lines like the S&W wider target triggers feel.

The trigger on my 1911 has lines in it now for grip. I just want that but wider.

Yes! I just looked one up. That would be it. I was thinking with serrations all the way across and not just centered but that's the general idea.

Tim,

Try the smooth one first.  Other shooters who know choose Froneck's smooth aluminum/bronze shoes.

If it stands a chance at fitting a RO's trigger and the chance you might part with it - please let me know.

It fits the 52B also but not the C. Look at the #3.

Franks bronze ones are great!

I tried the serrated, it was one of the first type I made. Simply a copy of the Ace but I didn't like the stubby shoe so I make it longer then serrated it. I then remembered why I removed the Aces from my guns. I made another but this time made the surface very smooth! Later I used Aluminum Bronze and WOW it felt soooo much better!
In my opinion try smooth first, I sell the shoe with a no questions asked change or modification at no charge except $4 to cover shipping. Also the full price can be deducted for an up-grade. Since I can't serrate a single shoe the up-grade to serrated will cost $10 more than the shoe returned but I really don't recommend it.
