Hornady Bullet feeding die

Hi!

Does anyone use the Hornady Bullet Feeding Die to load lead bullets?  Some reviews I've read say that the lead bullets don't drop cleanly and modifications have to be made to the die which I'm not realy able to make, as I'm not a machinist.

I'm hand feeding bullets and cases in my Hornady LnL AP  - I have height limitations that preclude getting the case feeder and bullet feeders.

Are there other bullet feeding die options out there that I'm not finding?

Check out the mr bullet feeder mini. It's fantastic and short.
I had the Hornady feeder with long tubes for a while. It was okay. But the mini is way easier and less finicky..

+1. I had a lot of issues with the Hornady die, no matter how I adjusted it, polished the internals, etc., bullets were jamming and not feeding properly. I upgraded to Mr. Mini Bullet Feeder and have no problems whatsoever.

I wonder if the Hornady Bullet tube would work on the MMBF die? Price is also a consideration and would be about half the price of the MMBF.

With the die, not much cheaper than the mini Mr. Bulletfeeder although it looks to be well made.
