I want a better place to put my thumb

Like I wish I could take off my arms when I sleep at night, I wish I could take off my thumb (shooting hand) when shooting. What I want is slab side grips, but a place I can rest my thumb, way up, like almost as high as the thumb safety, but not that high. A metal grip insert, like the spacers that are available, that extends out and around where I can put my thumb. I want more options, dang it.

Get those and add putty like most air pistol shooters use to build the rest up

My shooting improved dramatically when Rob K. Told me to drop my thumb down to touch my finger.

Phil, these are not slabs, but they do get the thumb higher.

What you could try is have a slab on the palm side and the Herrett N-45 on the other side.

I have a right handed N-45 you could try to see if it does what you want.

Thanks Thomas. I've have/shot with the Herretts/slab side, and I like the thumb even higher. I could build up the thumb rest.
