I just purchased a Kimber Stainless Target II in 45. The trigger is about 5 pounds and sucks. Does anyone make a upgraded trigger for this pistol. I like to get it down to 3 pounds or less.  Thanks

Why not? What is legal pull weight for NRA or CMP shoots? Thanks

For NRA min Trigger weight is 3.5 pounds. For CMP EIC it is 4 pounds.

Nothing beats tool steel parts for a trigger job, especially if you like a crisp let-off. I put one of these in a Springfield Armory Trophy Match and couldn't be happier. Considering what it costs to ship handguns back and forth to a pistolsmith and then his/ her charge for the work/ parts, I think this is a bargain: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1030382006?pid=382006

Another option to consider is KC roll trigger kit - if you want a roll let off. The pull weight would depend on how you adjust the existing leaf spring during re-assembly.

I am a former Marine so when I was at Perry I went to the Corps trailer and asked them to do their magic! Best 5th of Johnny Walker I ever bought

I feel comfortable turning a wrench on lots of parts in my truck/bike and running a file across lots of parts on my guns.

But for transmissions and trigger jobs, I go to the pros.
