Racking assist for M41

I am looking for a racking assist device for my model 41 I am having problems gripping the serrated edge and getting the round to load. Any ideas from the faithful followers of the forum?

You can reduce the racking effort by stoning a radius on the back of the bolt where it contacts the hammer. Doesn’t need to be a radical radius but needs to be smooth. After that, the skateboard tape is a good idea.

Never dry fire it. Never drop the slide unless loaded. Transport with chamber flag in barrel. When it is time to clean then remove barrel first thing. You could go for years without having to rack the slide. Or having to rack it with hammer down.
