I'm new to the forum. Retired and loving that I can shoot in my back yard.
Grew up in Metro Detroit and enjoyed target shooting in our basement. Try that today in Detroit.
I enjoy everything from black powder to modern and just target shooting now after shooting all game in the woods of Michigan. 

My new joy is shooting suppressed. 

Have a few threaded 22LR in Ruger, S&W, and looking at a Hi Standard now.

Welcome to the forum, You may want to check out the bullseye league at Center Target Sports in Post Falls. We shoot every Thursday night at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00. We shoot a 50 foot and 75 foot national match course alternating weeks. The format is two sets of a xxx/300 match with the score being kept on the second set. The first week of the month is a 'Fun Shoot' with centerfire pistols and rimfire pistols at 75 feet combined score for a bastard aggregate xxx/600. Every other first week is a 'Fun Shoot', centerfire pistols at 50 foot with 75 foot targets. There are 20 to 25 participants spread over the three start times with most shooting two handed and three or five that shoot one handed. The scores are posted separately. It is a great group and a friendly competition.
