National Match at Camp Perry info

I called and registered for the Pistol match at Camp Perry. But I found that they guy at the club that registers the Hut decided not to go since he didn't like the way it was run 2021 and 2022!. I called and all huts taken. I also see the CMP decided to combine Small Bore and Pistol at the same time. Stupid!!! That's probably why all the hut are taken! Any suggestions on housing for 3 guys. Me and my 2 sons.

I just called expecting to get a bed in the barracks, apparently they don’t open those until the 16th… the day after Presidents/NTI.

I asked the lady when I registered why they combined the 2 events. That takes up the housing. She didn't know why! Mixing pistol with small bore is plain stupid! Pistol shooters discussed everything as we do here. Small bore shooters keep to themselves in small groups. Just saying Hi to one of them and they look at you if you were crazy!
 I did manage to get Sunday thru Wednesday hut reservations but have to check-out Thursday morning. Probably lots of EIC shooters are registered. Have reservations in town for the additional 4 days.

The squad bay barracks are on perry are worth considering.

When I called yesterday they said the barracks aren’t available until July 16. 

I guess now that the CMP has the place to themselves they can manage to find their own way of mucking things up.

Sorry to hear it. There are some camp sites on base also.

I gave up my on site RV slot earlier today - might still be available.
