Shot my first 2700! Empty Shot my first 2700!

Found out about this 2700 in Austin, TX last night and decided to go and shoot it. Pretty windy day today about 17mph constant with gusts greater than that I'm sure. Fought a lot of Failures to eject in the time fire stages (had to clear two malfs in one of the strings). I think I know which magazine is giving me issues.

A one day 2700 is a lot of shooting. I did alright, and did better as I started to get dialed in. Great practice for the upcoming state championship. I hope it's not a windy day!

Nice scores for your first 2700. How long have you been shooting?

I only got into bullseye pistol seriously in November when I attended my first bullseye comps and got addicted. I was primarily a rifle shooter but turns out I shoot pistol better than I shoot rifle. Guess I should have known since I was always very good at the offhand stage.
The only serious formal training I had was on an M16A4 courtesy of the US Taxpayer. So maybe 6 or 7 years?
Both high power and bullseye fulfill the same zen aspect for me but the logistics of pistol is way simpler and cheaper. Air pistol is awesome because the whole thing is slow fire, I just got into it a week or so ago. Will probably get into air rifle too but the gear aspect of it is off-putting. I wish there was a High Power offhand-only match!
