Hamilton Trophy Empty Hamilton Trophy

Post by Olde Pilot Sun Jul 14, 2019 7:03 pm

Not sure this was ever going to happen, but it did! Congats to Greg and all the $ contributors for bringing back the tradition of irons. Appreciation of many BE shooters at Perry is evidenced by the substantial number of Metallic entries. A new "tradition" now to take to Atterbury. Well Done to winner Mason Talbert and all the other iron shooters!

Yep!  Great work and terrific to recognize one of our Navy shooters thanks to Greg and glad to have contributed.

My question is, is this trophy going to Atterbury? isn't it named for a Perry recordholder?? or just National Championship recordholder.

I hope that I'm correct, as a contributor, that the Trophy will follow to Atterbury as award for top iron sight shooter at the Nationals. Don't think any of us anticipated the move away from Perry. So, no disrespect intended to Hershel, but the award was meant to acknowledge iron sight record at the Nationals, not all-time record for BE. Greg - Help!

Hamilton Trophy Empty Metallic division

Post by bentrod Sun Jul 28, 2019 2:01 am

Is this a new division? I haven't shot BE for a few years but will again and plan on shooting irons. What do I need to know before my first match.

Seven clicks from 50 to 25.
That's about it.  Leave the batteries at home and put some sight black in your bag.
You're all set.
