Not Bullseye related but I bet you guys will like it!

My wife and I are negotiating to buy this piece of History! This is 1 of 55 made original 1968 Hemi Barracudas. It won the 2020 Hemi Challenge at the US Nationals! I will admit we are a little off on price but with a little luck it just might come home with us sometime in Feb!

Hoping you get it so that you can come up here and give me a ride!

Tom I raced NMRA Renegade clear back in 1999-2007 and over those years I was lucky enough to have some extremely fast mustangs. This car is something special

I moonlighted working on race cars and race motorcycles, bringing aerospace reliability and processes to those fields. I get a kick out of having a pistol box full of competition pistols compared to having a trailer or garage full of vehicles to deal with.

Still miss a bust-ass day at the track and having my team win.

Ages ago I helped Dad with castiron hemis.  Dad drag raced a 30s Packard with a 50s hemi.  I grew up helping build and tune the hemis and later powerflite and torqueflite trans for 55-57 300s  (C300,, 300B, 300C)  Worked with the smaller hemis in Dodge and Desoto too.  Oh how I miss driving the 57 300C.   Later on I moved to 66-68 Mustangs.  Last Mustang left the family in 2013.

My last race car was a carbon fiber replica of a '68 Barracuda. Had a 728 cu. in. nitrous engine that ran as fast as 6.54 @ 212 m.p.h. I was a lot of fun but also good at turning $100 bills in to noise! The only way I could half way afford it was I did everything myself.
I still have the car and the engine, sold the truck and trailer .

Had a 69 Cuda Fastback in the late 70’s. It looked and ran great, but the 70 1/2 and later were magic. Japan copied these for decades.
Got a mid 2000’s A8 and XJR to keep me occupied now. I am into driving and not wrenching today.

Yeah preaching to the choir! Lol! I been down that track 100’s of times. My turbo car went 205 back in 2001 with a small block ford. We broke something every race. 

With this car I plan on 3-5 races a year

Hemi chootout 
Mopar Nationals

It just went 8.28 with the backup for the national record but since not all of the nations fast cars were there he didn’t claim it
