First topic message reminder :

Look to put a Sig Romeo 5 on my 1911 Ball Gun and want to use a dove tail mount.
Any one know which mount works with the Sig Romeo 5?

I have used two of these type mounts in the past with Aimpoint H-1's with no issues. Both were secured with only set screws, and held just fine (albeit I think the 52 mount had indents for the set screws. Can't remember specifically).

One for a CZ75, other for a S&W 52. Have fun!

Got mt slide back from javaduke today with the new dove tail mount installed so I slid the slide back on the frame and mounted the Romeo 5 on the new mount.
Here's some eye candy.Sig Romeo 5 1911 Dove Tail Base - Page 2 Kimg1127

Took the pistol and my new javaduke dovetail scope base mount to the range for sight in and testing. Eugene/javaduke did a great job making the base and it worked perfectly. The Sig Romeo 5 did also but gave me something to worry about as it topped out on elevation adjustment at 10yds when trying to get it on paper and centered. The good news is when I took to 25yds I had to adjust it lower since it was shooting high. So now I have some adjustment for a 50yd zero.Sig Romeo 5 1911 Dove Tail Base - Page 2 Kimg1129
