Marvel .22 Slide Slop?
Colleagues,
Earlier this summer, I bought a Marvel lockback at Perry. I threw it on top of an old Springfield frame I had laying around, and there is a ton of slop. Is that OK, or do I need to have better fitment of slide to frame? The guide rod screws in just fine and the barrel fully locks in place. The gun shoots OK, and certainly open to comments that I just suck.
Any thoughts would be most appreciated.

The barrel is fixed to the frame, the slide fit in this case is of minimal importance.

It's bad enough that he uses the wrong hand.
