Is the Gold Medal in the New Box any good? 

CCI is no good no more
Aguila is no good no more 

Orange box used to be pricey but good, is the new stuff any good?

Have you tried the Aguila 40gr subsonic (1b222269)? Runs well for my two 208s pistols.
I have some of the new Aguila red & white box SV (1b220332) and it has been quite reliable and VERY accurate for me.

I've gone through a thousand rounds of the new red and white box Aguila SV in my Marvel without any issues.

I only bought it because I heard how bad it was supposed to be.

By the way, I shot a brick of the new Federal 711B thru my Hammerli's, HS Victor, GSP Expert and AW93. CCI SV and Aguila out-shot it hands-down

My obserbation is current federal automatch is 10 points per nmc behind pre-2020 crisis automatch.

Are you talking about ammunition or primers?

I take back my comments on the New Aquila , I shot a box today and it was excellent in all aspects.

I think the last time I tried it is was cold and that took away from the reliability and accuracy. It was really accurate.

I bought a case of the new 711B. Recoil has been consistent and accuracy isn't too shabby either. Not scared to shoot it at 50yds in a match. Here is a 10shot group out of a 6" nelson conversion at 50yds from sand bags.

And here is new (red & white) Aguila SV out of my GSP at 50yds. Called snatch of the trigger at 8 o'clock.
