gallery match rule

I am new to gallery match shooting. I have a question on whether a gell backed half glove is legal to compete with in a match any help would be great .

If its a NRA sanctioned event, then no you are not allowed anything on the shooting hand, if its just a local fun match, then you would have to get that answer from whom ever is putting on the match.
