Marvel Conversion on Les Baer HB

What would be the reason(s) that a Marvel 22 Conversion Unit wouldn't work on a Les Baer HB gun? I tried one once and while it fit on the frame, the gun would not fire. Just wondering how big of a deal it would be to make it work.

Shouldn't take much effort at all. I recommend a Nelson Conversion.  They typically go on with no issues and feed reliably. THE Marvel's always seem to take a little work to feed reliably in my experience.

Check to make sure the disconnector is fitting in the half moon cutout on the slide.  I have had a disconnector that was just a couple thousanth's too wide and the disconnector wasn't able to go up into that cutout on the marvel slide.  Because of this it was like the trigger would never reset.

Thanks to you both. Thinking about trying a conversion unit again and will take a closer look at the Nelson.

Did you try it on another frame?

Should have mentioned that..yes, it worked fine on a Springfield frame.

then I'd have to give a nod to the disconnector  & try a different one in the LB frame.
