Lyman Target System

Anybody have one of these new remote-controlled target systems from Lyman?

If so, what are your thoughts on it?

Interesting.  Did you notice the rimfire only note?

Not always a problem as you can easily not hit the frame with CF.   However, the others at the range that day may not be able to avoid cross firing and hitting your $200 set up.

Replacement paper roll target cost is very high a 50ft roll gives you 27 targets for $18-20.  That's .67-.75 each, I pay about .10 each for repair centers.  There are limited target types available.

The uprights are electrical conduit so they are replaceable (that was smart), but I don't believe they are included with the target.
