Metallic division at Perry

Has an answer been given for no metallic division last year at Perry ever been given? 
I noticed last year they started a veterans division and managed to get that done the same year. How are they going to award the Don Hamilton award if they won't break out metallic sight shooters?

they screwed metallic shooters last year... i imagine more of the same this year.  Its funny the Perry match director didn't even know what was in his program.

Considering that for over 60 years there has been a separation for match rifle and service rifle at every nra rifle match.
It just highlights how incompetent people can get when they put their mind to it.

I went to the stat office after I heard guys talking about it on the line.  The story I got was that they knew about it being listed in the program but they didn't have enough time to do whatever else they needed to do to make it happen.  Not much of an answer but it seems like I wasn't the first person to ask about it.  Maybe they can figure out how to add a check box to the entry form before his year comes around.

I probably still could break 2620 with iron sights.

It's tough to reconcile two weeks off of work and $3K+ in travel expenses for a $150 Visa gift card.

Match is in July, nra advertised metallic in February, match program comes out few weeks for nationals.
