Magtec 32 sw long ammo
looking to get some more bass for the 32 sw long and I found magtec loaded ammo for a pretty reasonable price. Anyone have any experience with thier 98gr wadcutters?

Rob,
How much brass are you looking for? I have a little Lapua that I could send you.

Rob,
No where near that much. Maybe a couple hundred. PM me if that will help.
I won’t be at Oakdale this year.

Re: Magtec 32 sw long ammo
Rob,
I’ve never tried Magtech. My gun shoots great at 25 yards with both Lapua and Fiocchi.
A few years back I bought several cases of 32 ammo from a retired shooter. Lapua, Fiocchi, and Federal. The Federal was unbelievably bad in my gun. Wouldn’t stay on the repair center at 25. Bullets keyholed.
Sold it to Greg Benner who had some luck with it in one of his rebarreled pistols.
Best to try a couple boxes before investing heavily. Don’t expect much at 50 yards.

Re: Magtec 32 sw long ammo
that's the stuff I was looking at... let me know if it's just loaded brass or if it will actually shoot decently. I'm still going back and forth with just buying brass and bullets, but with primers scarce, that factors into things as well...rkittine wrote:I just got 10 boxes of the Magtech from www.TargetSportsUSA. Re: Magtec 32 sw long ammo
With my Premier Membership, I paid under $18.00 per box and free shipping on any quantity, so I figured it would give me a supply of brass to try. I also have two hundred new Lapua pieces of Brassh and 200 Starlight, which I have been told might be the brass that Magtech uses, but I am not sure of that. Also bought Lapua 98 grain HBWCs (3,000) and Meister 100 grain solid WCs (1,000) and picked up 4,000 Remington 1 1/2 primers last week for $32.50 per 1,000 all in. Powder Valley is about to deliver 8 pounds of WST in the next day or two and I have 8 pounds of Bullseye. After spending for a Rebuilt Star Press in .32 S&W Long WC, I am planning on testing all the variations.

Load a couple and pull the bullet to see if the base is crushed in.
Use an TCBS shell holder in the hammer type puller. Put tissue in the bottom to reduce nose damage
