Anyone sand volothane/rubber grips?
Has anyone sanded a volothane or other rubber grips? What's the best method? I'm looking to remove 1/16 under my trigger finger.

I would try a sanding drum on a dremel. I bet it would work.

That method DOES work. Start smaller grain and work your way up to find the smallest grain that "grabs" the surface without totally shredding it. What you will find is
no grab > no grab > slight grab but too slow > grab (this is it) > shred (not what you want)
no grab > no grab > slight grab but too slow > grab (this is it) > shred (not what you want)

Try putting the grips in the freezer overnight before sanding on them. Doesn’t gum up nearly as bad.
